What is Arkansas Furmeet?
Arkansas Furmeet, or ARF (Previously known as Central Arkansas Anthro Association/ C3A ) is a privately owned furry group that has been holding meetups in the Central Arkansas area officially since 2016.
Our first unofficial meetup consisted of a handful of friends who knew each other online who met up in a bowling alley in 2015, brought together on Furaffinity. Since then, ARF held meetups all over Central Arkansas until it went dormant for a couple years, returning in 2023 with a brand new, permanent venue that was no longer subjected to the public.
ARF changed from C3A in late 2024 to accommodate and recognize the Arkansas community as a whole, and not just the Central AR area.
ARF prides ourselves in having a private place where anyone and everyone can gather and celebrate such a wonderful, diverse community. Arkansas has been home to many on our team for years, and some, their whole lives. We are dedicated to the further progression of Arkansas' wonderful furry community.

You can stay on your own bed you provide in the cabin, in your personal vehicle, or in a tent. If you are not interested in staying at the location BUT would like to stay somewhere overnight nearby, the following cities are closeby and offer hotels.Cabot, AR
Vilonia, AR
Jacksonville, AR
Sherwood, ARPlease make sure to refer to our rules and guidelines before attending our meetups.

Our Venue
Arkansas Furmeet are held at our own privately-owned area, Laman Lake.
Laman Lake consists of a large party cabin, beach and lake on 80 acres of woodland. This area is not open to the public, giving ARF it's ability to provide a relaxed, family-type meetup without the drama and prying eyes of a public atmosphere.
Our sandy beach is a great place to hang and chill with friends, new and old. Come chill and talk at our picnic tables, banter at the grill, or go inside of the cabin to escape the sun and play games. During the summer, jump off the dock or float in the lake! We encourage those who have kayaks to bring them and paddle around the lake. (Or you can ask to borrow one!)
Getting to the Venue

Getting to the venue is easy, (Please see the picture above!) but keep the following in mind:1. The road is unpaved, and is not suited well for lowered vehicles.
2. Please take the road easy. 5MPH is recommended, and follow the road. You can make it in with pretty much any vehicle, but be careful!
3. If you can carpool with others, do it. There is limited area for parking, especially if there is a large crowd. Consider reaching out on the Telegram group to offer rides or ride with others.
Things to Do
Every meetup can have a different array of events happening, but we always have something fun and interactive going on!

Swimming
During the summer, most of our attendees escape the heat swimming in the lake.

Fishing
The lake is stocked full of fish! So pull up a chair, get your fishin' pole, and relax.

Volleyball
What would a beach be without a good game of Volleyball? Get out there and show us your moves!

Kayaking
With water, comes exploration. Bring your own kayak or borrow one and explore the lake, or relax and take in all the scenery. Or idk, race your friends?

Grilling
Grilling is the centerpiece of a good get-together. Crack open a cold one and hang out with the bros.

Games
Board games, video games, whatever you're interested in, come play!

Jam Sesh
Do you play an instrument, sing, or just like to hang out and listen? C3A's Jam Sesh is for you to let it all out or soak in the sounds.

Sketchbook Swap
Artists of all levels join together for a good ol' fashioned sketchbook swap. Bring your own sketchbook and exchange with others to fill them full of cool doodles!

Fireworks
Let the night go out with a BANG!

Therian Meetup / Howl
C3A has a large therian population! All animals are welcome to join in and participate in the Howl!
We are always adding new events and fun things to do at our meets, so this can always be updated!

Frequently Asked Questions
If your still have questions, please feel free to contact us!
When is the next meetup?
We will post the dates of the next meetup within a couple weeks of the end of the last one. They should be posted to our social medias, telegram group, discord, or the homepage of our website.
During the winter (November - February) we do not have meetups, so there might not be a posted meetup date at this time, so keep an eye out for updates. Why is there not a meet during the winter?
Simply put, winter tends to be a time that includes many holidays and works as a well needed break for those on staff. How can I help?
The best way to help ARF is check out our list of things we need for the meets, donate, and just share amongst friends!
We currently are not open for moderator or staff positions. Can I come if I am from out of state?
YES! We welcome anyone, from anywhere. We have had people as close as 5 minutes down the road to as far as Europe show up to our meetups. ARF is predominantly Arkansas residents but we encourage anyone who can make it to show up!Can I sell my works at the meetup?
You can sell person-to-person at the meetup. We currently do not allow setups that are dedicated to selling items or artwork, but this could be subject to change. Is the venue Handicap Accessible?
Unfortunately, the venue is not well accessible for those who use wheelchairs, and may be harder to navigate for those who use other mobility aids. There is uneven, rough terrain and steps at the venue.
All donations are generous and not required to attend our meetups, but are very, VERY appreciated.ARF is typically funded out-out-pocket by our staff or by donations, which can be very costly.
